Undergraduate and graduate students from the C. T. Bauer College of Business recently put their skills to practice during the Supply Chain Forum Case Competition sponsored by BP.
From a competitive pool of applicants across the country, two undergraduate students from the C. T. Bauer College of Business have been selected to participate in a summer internship program for Google, the tech giant frequently ranked as one of the world’s best employers.
The C. T. Bauer College of Business Institute for Regional Forecasting held its Spring Symposium on May 11, with director and noted economist Robert W. “Bill” Gilmer providing a recap of Houston’s economy in late 2016.
During the May 14 convocation ceremony, the college will recognize outstanding graduates, including 10 master’s students selected as the top in their respective programs.
On May 13, Bauer alumna Duy-Loan Le (MBA ’89) will become the first engineer inducted into the Asian Hall of Fame, joining a roster that includes Olympic athletes, former White House cabinet members, and Hollywood celebrities.
Five undergraduate students from the C. T. Bauer College of Business recently won $50,000 and first place for their clean energy startup at a U.S. Department of Energy business plan competition.
