Houston-area youngsters learned about college, finances and business in October from five graduate students at the C. T. Bauer College of Business during a special event on campus for the Sugar Land chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.

Both the University of Houston and noted alumnus Welcome Wilson, Sr. were born in 1928 and have seen the city grow over the years. Wilson provided a history of UH and Houston business as the featured speaker of the October Bauer College Alumni Association networking breakfast.
The MBA program at the C. T. Bauer College of Business recently was recognized for boosting the career and salary prospects of its graduates, among other factors, landing in the top 50 in PayScale’s “College Salary Report” and jumping 16 places in the Financial Times’ list.
Adil Rajabali and Loc Dang, undergraduate finance students from the C. T. Bauer College of Business, took second place in the annual Investment Banking Scholars Club (IBSC) Oil and Gas Valuation Case Competition, which attracted competitors from across the nation.
