“Engagement: Alumni | Students | Community” Focus of Annual Meeting
Hundreds of alumni and supporters of the C. T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston will gather on Sept. 12 on campus for the 2013 Bauer College Alumni Association (BCAA) Annual Meeting, celebrating the accomplishments of the year and gearing up for another productive session.
The theme of this year’s meeting is “Engagement: Alumni | Students | Community,” a spotlight on award-winning students and teams from Bauer College and record-setting BCAA events throughout 2012-2013. The meeting will also include guest speakers and alumni presenting on this year’s primary topic, engagement.
The annual meeting is the largest event for BCAA and the college, routinely bringing standing-room-only crowds to the college’s auditoriums. This year, the presentation will be held in Stubblefield Auditorium in Michael J. Cemo Hall.
All Bauer alumni, old and new, are invited to attend the event and join the association. BCAA President James Hong (BBA ’05) said he encourages alumni to return to their alma mater to reconnect with fellow Bauer graduates and business community supporters.
“It is important to engage and reconnect with alumni, students and our business community because Bauer College is at the center of great things taking place,” Hong said.
The program will be followed by a catered reception with beer and wine in the Events Center and MBA Commons, on the third floor of the University Classroom and Business Building (UCBB).
