As the number of families that include two working parents grows — from an average 4 of 10 in 1970 to more than 6 of 10 now — the C. T. Bauer College of Business is examining how businesses can leverage a workforce that has more diverse needs than ever.
The Institute for Regional Forecasting at the C. T. Bauer College of Business held its Spring Symposium on May 17, with director and noted economist Robert W. “Bill” Gilmer providing his insight on economic prospects for Houston in the coming year.
