A team of four MBA students from the C. T. Bauer College of Business will compete in May for $35,000 in scholarship prize money after recently being selected as one of three national finalists in the Executive Leadership Foundation (ELF) 2014 Business Case Competition.
On March 18, the C. T. Bauer College of Business will aim to dispel the myth that only candidates with business backgrounds should pursue an MBA by holding a special information session targeting applicants who do not have undergraduate degrees in business.
E. Powell Robinson Jr. — a professor in the Department of Decision and Information Sciences at the C. T. Bauer College of Business — is the recipient of the Decision Sciences Institute’s prestigious Dennis E. Grawoig Distinguished Service Award.
During commencement, three Bauer graduate students and five undergraduate students will receive special recognition for extraordinary achievements and leadership during their tenure in their respective programs.
Bauer College will celebrate Fall 2013 graduates during a commencement ceremony on Dec. 20 in Hofheinz Pavilion on the UH campus.
Students at the C. T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston had the opportunity to meet with non-profit organizations during the Rockwell Career Center’s Volunteer Fair where they learned about all the opportunities to serve in the Houston area.
