Students from Bauer College and across the University of Houston are pitching their startup ideas on Aug. 6 to Houston’s tech entrepreneurship community at the seventh annual Bayou Startup Showcase.

A student from the C. T. Bauer College of Business is among the state’s rising entrepreneurs, according to the Texas Business Hall of Fame.
Each semester, Bauer’s Graduate and Professional Programs selects students from each program to recognize as outstanding students.
More than 1,200 students from the C. T. Bauer College of Business will be recognized on May 16 during a Virtual Graduation Celebration, featuring an address from Bauer College Dean Paul A. Pavlou, Bauer alumni and faculty.
