Doctoral Research Celebrated With Bauer Doctoral Program Excellence Awards

Annual Awards Program Recognizes Outstanding Ph.D. Students, Faculty

Bauer College recently recognized business research from its doctoral program by announcing recipients of this year’s Bauer Doctoral Program Excellence Awards.

Now in its second year, the awards program identifies and rewards outstanding doctoral faculty and students within the college. The categories include Best Bauer Dissertation Proposal Award, Best Bauer Dissertation Award, Bauer “A Hit” Research Team Award, and Bauer Faculty Mentorship Award.

“The mission of the doctoral program is to develop the stewards of the discipline,” Bauer Doctoral Programs Director Vanessa Patrick-Ralhan said.” In line with this mission, the goals of the Bauer Doctoral Excellence Awards incentivize faculty and students to work together to strive for research excellence within their respective fields; create a community of scholars within Bauer who embody the values and mission of the doctoral program; and to recognize the impact that cutting edge academic research can make to benefit consumers, businesses and society.”
