The proposed Keystone XL oil pipeline, which would transport product from Canada and the northern United States primarily to Texas Gulf Coast refineries, has ignited environmental and political debate since its proposal almost a decade ago.

A speaker will discuss the project and the issues surrounding it during the first Distinguished Leaders Series of the year on Feb. 18. Buckeye GP President and CEO Clark C. Smith will share his insights on “Midstream and the Keystone Pipeline.”

Presented by AGL Resources and their Houston-based companies, the DLS serves as an opportunity for exploring topical issues in business, with an emphasis on the energy industry.

A reception will be held in Cemo Hall at 5 p.m. before the 6 p.m. discussion. Click here to RSVP.
