Insperity’s Tyler Pierson Talks Customer Service at May Luncheon
Customer service should be at the core of every business, including higher education, according to Tyler Pierson, sales innovator for Insperity.
Pierson spoke to faculty and staff from the C. T. Bauer College of Business in May and provided his expertise and experience on how to make the most of building and maintaining relationships with clients.
The key, he said, is to focus first on people.
“We invested our time in the client and in their most important asset, people,” Pierson said. “We found out last year that out of 555 clients, 554 renewed. Why? Because they get more from us.”
Insperity President Richard Rawson (BBA ’72) serves on the Bauer College Board and has established a $1 million endowment to the Bauer Excellence Initiative. He was also integral in establishing also celebrated the University Classroom and Business building, home to the Insperity Center.
“At the end of the day, our mission and values are the same as Insperity,” Ramchand said. “We value the fact that we have a mission tied to a client who we are serving — students.”
