The C. T. Bauer College of Business MBA program was ranked No. 41 among publics by Bloomberg BusinessWeek on the list of Best Business Schools of 2014.

Bloomberg BusinessWeek announced this week its list of the Best Business Schools of 2014 and included the full-time MBA program at the C. T. Bauer College of Business among the best.

The list surveys 138 participating schools overall and includes categories for graduate, executive, undergraduate and distance programs. It places the Bauer program at No. 41 among public institutions and No. 78 overall its full-time MBA program.

“The latest ranking for the Bauer MBA program is especially rewarding because it is determined by students and employers who recruit our graduates, as well as our faculty’s research productivity,” Dean Latha Ramchand said.

The ranking is based on three measures, 45 percent of which is an MBA student survey requiring at least 30 percent of the class to respond, showcasing student engagement.

An employer survey makes up another 45 percent of the rankings and focuses on employers of Bauer College alumni. The final 10 percent measured the expertise of the college’s faculty, based on faculty research in esteemed journals.

This is the first year Bauer College was included in the annual list of the top 85 MBA programs in the U.S. To learn more about the college’s recent rankings, click here.
