Sessions Will Cover Personal Finance Topics,
Including Money Management and Understanding Credit Reports
Bauer College is hosting a free event open to the community on April 9 focusing on practical personal finance advice.
The Fifth Annual Financial Symposium’s theme is “Your Finances and You,” and will include facilitated sessions and activities covering a range of financial topics, including money management, understanding a credit report, embedding personal finance into education, and careers in finance.
Organized by the college’s Program for Financial Literacy, and in conjunction with Houston Money Week, the symposium is part of a broader initiative to respond to a national need for financial education.
Covenant Multifamily Offices CFA Wealth Advisor John Keeton (MS Finance ’08) will be the keynote speaker for the event. Keeton began his career as an equity research analyst with SMH Capital and was one of the original founders of Covenant in 2010.
The April 9 symposium will be held on campus in Cemo Hall. For more information and to RSVP, click here.
