Students from the C. T. Bauer College of Business will have the opportunity to meet with more than 100 employers on Friday, Feb. 5, during the Rockwell Career Center Spring 2016 Business Career Fair.

The C. T. Bauer College of Business Rockwell Career Center will host its Spring 2016 Business Career Fair this Friday, Feb. 5, from noon to 4 p.m. in the University of Houston Hilton.

More than 100 employers will be looking for Bauer students to fill internships and jobs for their immediate summer needs. Companies represented span a range of industries and include HP, ExxonMobil, TDECU and Target stores.

“One of the great things about being at Bauer is our huge network of employers,” Assistant Dean for Career Services Jamie Belinne said. “Career Fair is a great place to meet hundreds of professionals all at one time. Even if you’re not ready for an internship, the sooner you start meeting prospective employers to talk about future opportunities, the more likely you are to be the candidate they select when you are ready to be hired.”

In order to participate in the career fair, Bauer students must dress professionally and bring their UH student ID to check in. Students also have the option to “skip the line” line by checking in with the Rockwell Career Center on the second floor of Cemo Hall this week to get quicker access into the event.
