As lawmakers continue to examine the sweeping overhaul of the nation’s financial regulatory system, a response to 2008’s economic crisis, consumers are left wondering what the 2,300+ pages of legislation mean and how the changes could impact them. Finance professor Craig Pirrong, who gives his thoughts on finance and energy issues on his blog (www.streetwiseprofessor.com), is available to discuss the proposed derivatives regulation, recently been called one of the more controversial sections of the bill.
