At the conference game against Rice University in February, UH Bauer students had an opportunity to do more than just cheer on their fellow Cougars to victory at Hofheinz Pavilion. Student organizations from the UH C. T. Bauer College of Business participated in the fourth annual Basketball Scholarship Shoot Out Challenge, sponsored by New York Life Insurance Company.

December proved to be a successful month for Jake Ebner (’08), who celebrated his graduation from the University of Houston C. T. Bauer College of Business only 11 days before helping the UH Cougar football team claim its first bowl game win in more than two decades.
High school students are getting a taste of life in the real world with the help of the C. T. Bauer College of Business. In January, the college hosted the kickoff event for the Game of Real Life, a program that gives Houston-area teenagers the opportunity to test themselves with life after high school.
