The C. T. Bauer College of Business improved its ranking with U.S. News & World Report as the publication released this week its 2015 Undergraduate Business Rankings, listing the college four spots higher than last year.

The college ranked 58 among public universities, up from 62 in 2014, and up to 93 from 101 in the overall rankings. The survey analyzed over 400 universities based on peer assessment. Officials from each university rated the quality of all schools they are familiar with using a 1-5 scale, putting Bauer College’s overall index score at 2.9.

“It is gratifying that our peer institutions recognize Bauer College as one of the best,” Dean Latha Ramchand said. “In addition to published rankings, we demonstrate the quality of a Bauer education through our growing connection to the business community, our students’ satisfaction with the courses and experiential learning opportunities we offer and the research and expertise our faculty produce.”

Bauer College has previously ranked in U.S. News’ top 10 higher education lists, including 10 Most Popular B-Schools and one of the top values for out-of-state MBA applicants.
