Over 700 Graduating Students Participate in Ceremony
The University of Houston C. T. Bauer College of Business celebrated Fall 2012 graduates during a commencement ceremony on Dec. 21 in Hofheinz Pavilion on the UH campus.
The Bauer ceremony is part of a full day of commencement on campus, the university’s esteemed tradition of General Commencement to honor all graduates and achievements in a grand celebration. More than 700 Bauer students from undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs claimed their degrees in the Fall 2012 ceremony.
UH System Chancellor and UH President Renu Khator honored the accomplishments of the graduating class with a keynote address. Bauer College Dean Latha Ramchand congratulated all degree candidates and presented them to the president for the bestowal of their degrees.
“We are so proud of all graduating students and their hard work as Bauer College students,” Ramchand said. “As a Bauer graduate, these students join the ranks of a community of leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs, and I encourage them to stay involved with us and the Bauer College Alumni Association.”
