Professional MBA Program is No. 29 Among Publics on 2016 Best Business Schools List

New business school rankings released by U.S. News & World Report named the C. T. Bauer College of Business Professional MBA program as one of the nation’s best on the list.

The C. T. Bauer College of Business is among the best graduate business schools in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report, which released its 2016 list of the top MBA programs in the nation recently.

Bauer College’s Professional MBA, an evening program designed for working professionals, received its highest-ever rank on the list, named 29th among public institutions out of 134 ranked programs. The program was tied for 48th overall of 213. Last year, the college ranked 61st overall.

“It is rewarding to see that the hard work of our faculty, staff, students and alumni is being recognized,” Bauer College Dean Latha Ramchand said. “Everyone at the Bauer College is committed to student success, and we work tirelessly to provide our students with the best classroom experience, placement services and extracurricular opportunities. Anytime that one of our programs is ranked by a publication like U.S. News, it validates that what we are doing has impact.”

The list surveys 213 participating schools overall and ranks them according to peer assessments, acceptance rate and part-time enrollment. Other factors include students’ GPA and GMAT scores, as well as years of work experience of the incoming class and placement upon graduation.

U.S. News also ranked Bauer’s full-time MBA program within its 2016 Best Business Schools as No. 53 among publics.
