Combining entrepreneurial spirit with philanthropy, students from the C. T. Bauer College of Business student organization Enactus UH received $8,000 in grants to help the Houston Furniture Bank and the Rockwell Career Center’s suit closet project.
Supply chain students from the C. T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston were given the opportunity to meet with leaders in Houston’s supply chain industry at the inaugural Bauer Supply Chain Student Association (SCSA) career mixer in August.
The University of Houston student chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) was awarded the Excellence in Chapter Planning Award at the 36th annual American Marketing Association International Collegiate Conference in New Orleans in April.
Students from the C. T. Bauer College of Business student organization Enactus placed second in the nation during the Sam’s Club Step Up for Small Business Project Partnership for their work with the Houston Furniture Bank.
During the May 10 commencement, seven Bauer students will receive special recognition for extraordinary achievements and leadership during their tenure in their respective programs.
More than 150 students in the Bauer Hispanic Business Student Association (HBSA) focus on voicing the concerns of Hispanic business students, promoting business leadership skills and entrepreneurship while reaching out to middle school and high school students in the community.
