Bauer MBA Society and NAWMBA to Host
Fourth Annual Bauer MBA Global Experience

The Bauer MBA Society and NAWMBA will host the fourth annual Bauer MBA Global Experience March 31 from noon to 4 p.m. at the University Center Houston room with cultural performances and panel discussions.

Two graduate student organizations from the University of Houston C. T. Bauer College of Business will travel the globe and focus on doing business across cultures during an event this month.

On March 31, the college’s chapters of Bauer MBA Society and the National Association of Women MBAS (NAWMBA) will host the fourth annual Bauer MBA Global Experience, an event that celebrates and showcases the diversity within the Bauer community and fosters an appreciation and respect for international business and culture.

The event will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on campus in the University Center, Houston Room. Participants will don garments typical of the region they represent and provide popular foods as well. Attendees can participate in activities, such as getting henna tattoos from Pakistan or practicing their calligraphy in China.

Also, the event features a panel discussion on state capitalism, cultural performances from India, China, the Caribbean and Bangladesh and keynote guest speaker Imaad Mahfooz, managing principal of Chronus Consulting.
