The tech world is buzzing as Apple kicks off its Worldwide Developer Conference today, showing off a new lineup of products and software. Early reports say Apple may possibly announce a new smartband as opposed to an originally rumored iWatch that will allow them to partner with Nike to integrate health and fitness features with iOS devices.

They are likely to have major updates to the operating system that powers its iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, along with information on the next version of OS X.

Bauer College clinical assistant professor Hesam Panahi is prepared to discuss how technology is changing the way we work and play. Panahi is also the founder of RED Labs, the university’s startup accelerator housed in Bauer College.
